Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions before and after your appointment.
How long does window tint take to cure?
Cure time varies with film, temperature, humidity, and weather. Some temporary haze or moisture can be normal while the film dries. Follow the care instructions provided after installation.
When can I roll my windows down?
Wait the amount of time recommended by the installer before operating freshly tinted roll-down windows. This helps protect the film edges while the adhesive sets.
Do you remove old tint and glue?
Yes. Existing tint, adhesive residue, multiple film layers, partially removed film, and difficult removals can require additional labor and may change the final price.
Will small bubbles or haze go away?
Some moisture pockets or light haze may be visible during the curing period. If something remains after the expected cure period or looks unusual, contact us so it can be inspected.
Can you tint over factory privacy glass?
In many vehicles, film can be applied to factory privacy glass for additional performance or a different appearance. We can recommend an option after seeing the vehicle and your goal.
What is the difference between carbon and ceramic?
Both can provide privacy, glare reduction, and UV protection. Ceramic is the premium option when stronger heat rejection and cabin comfort are the priority.
Can old rear-window tint be removed safely?
Rear windows require extra care because of factory defroster lines. We inspect the condition before removal. Pre-existing damage, age, adhesive, or prior work can increase risk.
Do you restore headlights?
Yes. We restore many cloudy, yellowed, oxidized, and faded lenses. Deep cracks, severe crazing, internal damage, or housing damage may not be fully restorable and can be declined after inspection.
How do I know what tint shade is right for me?
We can show you available shades and discuss appearance, privacy, heat rejection, and your needs. Tint laws vary by vehicle and window location, so legal requirements should also be considered before choosing a shade.
How accurate is the online price?
Online pricing is a starting point. Vehicle size, glass layout, existing film, glue removal, specialty film, and unusual conditions can change the final quote.
